You could buy my Palm m500 and then buy AutoTap for Palm or some other Palm OBD-II software :D

What do you need a laptop in your car for? Just wondering.

if you have the newer fbodies, you could probably make a swing out stand where the cupholder is right now. You know the one that hides under the radio bezel and swings out. Could be a neat setup

You think that thing is strong enough to support a laptop?

I've been thinking about getting a touchscreen headunit and doing a custom computer setup in the bird for awhile. Would run the stereo, navigation, performance/stats, everything. Just lacking the moolah :(

You would need to make a stronger bracket for it to swing out on. But I think it could be done.
