I was looking on ebay for a car alarm and they seem pretty cheap but i dont know what ones good and whats ones not.I dont have power doors or anything so what you think is the best one?

$750...is what I spent on mine. No one has messed with my car. It's the Python (a DEI company along with Viper) Remote Start/Alarm system along with a DEI proximity sensor and a vared LED scanner. You do get what you pay for. I park in some pretty bad areas, with my t-tops off mind you. Any hands reach in, bam - alarm goes off.
I would NOT skimp out on an alarm. Check with your insurance company, most likely the alarm will be in fact "free" after a year because they will lower your rate. [img]smile.gif[/img]
I have a Viper and payed about $350 for mine with auto door locks installed. Then again, I have the hook-up with car electronics :D

I have a Viper as well. Love it... not had any problems with it, and more importantly no one has messed with my car. Freshman year (college) my entire stereo got ripped out. :mad: Insurance paid for most of it but still a pain in the azz. 3 years later and no probs.
