  • help with guage install i have pics PLEASE

i can not get it to turn on, if possible please tell me where to hack into wires. i have hacked into many but apparently not the right ones.

hey man just get a tester and hack into one that has power going to it once all your dash lights light up.

If i remember on mine there was a yellow wire and i just used a T-tap and i spliced it into there and it works fine.

On my '97 I picked up the yellow wire coming out of the headlight switch. That one went live when I turned the headlight switch on. My Gauges come on with the Auto-Headlights or when I turn the switch now.

So, I assume you have a dimmer control, an inverter box and the guages?

Didn't it come with a wiring diagram or something? If you are just randomly wiring things to differnt terminals you are going to wreck something...

Maybe you shouldn't be clipping it? Try soldering the wires together directly. I mean I'm not a professional or anything, but maybe it's just not holding right?
