What type of speaker wire does everyone use? RCA cables? Im gonna do my install myself, 2 10s. Do I need to run power for the amp directly from the battery or can I get it from the power that's going into the stereo? Any help would be useful thanks.

Speaker wire? Dont waist you money on fancy wire. Just get 16 aug normal wire. (im using 1.3mm^2 twisted copper) The wires from you Deck to you amp. Use RCA's you can spend 10$-100$ on those (mine were 18$ for 11 or 15 feet i think) Just as good. You will never know the differance unless you compeet in car audio shows. Power and ground wire size for amp.. Check you amp manual.
You have 2 subs. Make sure you know each subs OHMS vallue and wire it correctly or you can fry your amp.
Heres a pic i made of the basic setup

Yes, run your power wire directly from the batt. REMEMBER TO USE A FUSE!!! What size wire? Depends and how much current your amp draws. I don't know the amp so check your owners manual. RCA's? Like stated before... can be from $5 to $500. A lot of the cheaper one are just as good as the expensive ones. Some will say double or triple sheilded, oxygen free, etc. The main thing to look for is "twisted pair". I would get the cheapest twisted pair RCA's I could find. As far as speaker wire, (and power for that matter) you will hear people say wire is wire. For the most part (95%) that is true. Get some cheap stuff. Don't pay for the "name brand". Use like a 16awg. Also, as stated, watch how you wire you speakers to the amp. Post some info on your amp and speakers and I can help you out if needed.
Haven’t done anything on the Camaro, but put LEDs on my truck headlights . And my oil pressure sensor went out on the truck so going to fix that this...
