I'm looking at getting a 160 amp alternator from the afterthoughts auto website, and of course I plan to redo the alternator wiring when I do the install. Any recommendations for wire size, etc.?

4g min. I have 1/0awg running from mine....but I got a very special alternator....hehehehehe ;) Also, think about how you're going to connect the larger wire to your battery. Do you have top or side terminals on your battery? I use a double 1/0awg connector made by stinger. Check out the "GM side post" terminal over at www.knukonceptz.com Very cool.
