You DO know that it doesn't produce anything near 1800 watts??? Check out Profile, if you want affordable and decent.

Yep, that amp definatly won't put out 1800 watts. I don't know if I would by Profile either. I'm not sure how much power you're looking for or what subs you have but you can get a JBL 1200.1 on Ebay for under $300. It'll put out around 1300watts. Actually, you can get a Lanzar Vibe (1200D, I think) for around $250 and it'll around 1200 watts and has more features then the JBL. Let us know how much money you are looking to spend and what kind of subs you have and I can give you more ideas...

yeah, thinking about going with rockford fosgate, figured out a good amp and cheap subs will hit harder than cheap amp and good subs

Yep. You're better off with a cheap Rockford Punch amp that has a lower power rating, than buying a generic amp with a high power rating and doesn't put out anywhere near the boasted amount. I always loved Kicker amps though...

Well, it all depends on how much you want to spend. If you don't mind spending a little, the JBL 1200.1 can be had for under $300 shipped. The Lanzar Vibe 1200D (I think) can be had for $250, puts out a little less then the JBL but has more features and is cheaper. I don't know if I'd have anything in my car made by Lanzar, even if it did do all it said. They have a bad rap. Cheap subs? JL W0's or W3's or Rockford Fosgates HE2's OR... a much better sub... the Adire Audio Shiva. Much better and can be had for around $150 a piece. Let me know what you think...

?? Maybe I'm taking this the wrong way, but are you saying JBL is s#it? Cause that's all you'll get for $80 at a flea market. The 1200.1 will do around 1330 watts. For under $300... I'd say that's a fair deal. What about you?

I had a cheapo-800 Watt amp and it had a 40 amp fuse  800 watts at 13.8 volts is 57 amps.....

I can't find out what the fuse rating is on this particular amp (which raises my suspicion even more), but I've had experience with $120 high-power-rating amps before and it's not good.
