I am pretty sure the Bose has an amplifier in your spare tire compartment. Bose uses low impedence woofers (2 ohm) and 99% of aftermarket replacements are 4 ohm. It will work, but the aftermarket speakers will not be driven as hard as the Bose speakers were. If I am wrong and there is no amp, go for it. If there is an amp, you are probably better off just replacing the HU and keeping the Bose, unless you want to go hog wild and get a new amp. [img]graemlins/naughty.gif[/img]

You are going to need to find some 2 ohm speakers then, They are out there but are a more limited choice. I would just get a new amp. What kind of music do you listen to?

All I listen to is Metal( 80's 90's & now). I installed a decent CD/ XM ready radio and I thought a new pair or set of speakers would basically improve the sound quality. I'm selecting CDT speakers off the Zeb.com website to improve sound quality over stock. I guess every application is different regarding what kind of music people listen to nowadays that dictates their budget for deep bass for thug rap music to todays atrocious, overplayed pop music. Just my opinion and observation for a good question above my post.
