  • Safety switch to keep battery from draining?

I hooked up thermal sensor relay to turn on the radiator fans at about 190*. The problem is that after hard driving, I park the car and heat builds up under the radiator shroud, and the fans turn on when the car isn't running.

So I am looking for a switch or relay that I can wire in line with the power wire for the radiator fans. The switch/relay would need to cut the power running through itself when it senses that voltage has dropped down to about 10.5 volts. The guy at AutoZone thought long and hard, and even took down my phone number incase he thought of something, but I haven't heard from him yet.

Does anyone know of a little switch or relay that will do this?

ZZPerformance sells a timer module for their fan switch that turns off the fan after a set number of minutes. Maybe you could adapt it to work with your setup.
