  • Gauges Power?

Hey guys. I need to hook up 2 gauges, a fuel pressure gauge, and air/fuel to a switched source. Can I run a power wire from the IGN spot in the fuse box, and then split that into 2 wires for the gauges as long as they are fused?

Oh and what gauge wire should i use if i can do this. And for the air/fuel....i have to tap into purple wire going into the pcm correct? the bank towards the rear of the car.

Yes, you can do it that way if you want. Or you could tap into the heavy gauge (10awg) pink wire under the steering column area of the dash, just make sure to use an inline fuse. Something like 18awg wire will work just fine.

i used the remote on for the head unit becuase my rcas and remote line were right there then i just used a 12v line straight form the battery with a inline fuse. works great.
