today i tried to install a pair of 6x9's in the rear and 6.5 in the front doors the 6x9's was a tight squeeze but they fit and i am happy with the way they sound but the front speakers rattle. first of i think i may have wired it wrong the stock speaker had 2 red wires and 2 black ones. but the speakers i bought only had 2 hookups so i hooked up 2 red ones and one black(i tried two black and it rattled alot) also i discovered my stock speakers in the back seat dont work and no sound what so ever comes out. any ideas would be great

I've seen them nylon zip-ties in place of the screws that support the speakers. Not sure if that would help resolve your rattling problem. Maybe some non-flammable cushioning material behind the large magnetic base for added support. Just a few ideas...Black \'96 RS Camaro, 3.8 V6 Series II, M5, Stock 200 HP, 204K miles!
