    Fan switch killed my relay!!!

    Yup...found the source of my code. The fan control relay was fried!!! I don't know why it did that...I wired it all perfectly!

    Grrrr....now I'm gonna make sure I don't use a fan switch....grrrrr...this won't go over well with my parents.

    That really sucks man. Did you use the SLP or make one? Whats it going to take to fix it?

      I made one. It did the exact same thing as the SLP...it just makes no sense to me at all.....

      I bought a new relay for like $11 and put it in, pretty easy, but I still had to pay for the $77.50 scan!!!

        Most auto parts stores will scan for free....or you can buy a cheap OBDII generic scanner for about 80 bucks.
