I would pass. Ya that's pretty cool that you can change the display color, but it only has 2 sets of RCA outs and no time correction feature.

May I recommend the Alpine 9811
      Red 96' A4 Firebird
      Audio Audio and Autotek

what's all that mean? not going for any kind of crazy system, just some infinity kappa components and midranges, and a small 200watt jensen amp with a jl 8" in a powerwedge.
        thanks for any info

I understand you don't need any off the wall crazy stuff. But the Kenwood was $200 and the Alpine is $230 and a MUCH better deal. That's all. Just trying to get you the best bang for your buck.

Time correction is an outstanding feature. Greatest thing since sliced bread. When sitting in the driver's seat, your ear is a little closer to the driver's side speaker then the passenger side one. Try moving your head over the shift stick and console. Try not to block the driver's side speaker with your leg. Notice any difference? Kinda sounds like a pair of head phones huh?
Time correction delays the music coming out of the driver's side speaker (or which ever you choose) by just a fraction of a second. This way the music hits your ears from both speakers at the same time! Great feature. Especially good for those using the stock speaker locations. Didn't used to be available on the lower line models, but times have changed. :D Plus, you get a RCA sub output with the Alpine. And for only $30 more then the Kenwood??!?!?! It's no contest.
