If you ever have a choice of:

A.) better battery
or
B.) Capacitor

It is ALWAYS a better idea to choose the Battery. Optima's are some of the best on the market, you can't go wrong with it!

I've got both a yellow top and a cap. Do the battery first though. Yellow tops Rock

I have both. Combo works great. I have a Red top optima and I have a 1 farad cap. If you have to choose and can't do both right now, the battery is the best choice.

Looks like the battery is first!
There like 180 here at the Stereo shops and autozone.
