I see the Clarion has 3 RCA outs, but RCA voltage is not listed. Here's some more info on it FYI. 1.8V. Ouch. Other then that, seems like a pretty good deal for that price. But I'd really try to look for something atleast in the 2.5V range. The f-bodies are famous for whines and buzzing induced through the RCAs. :(

    Here's a couple

If you're willing to spend that kind of money, make sure you can get a HU with at least volume controls for the sub [onboard]. With all the roadnoise our cars make, the difference between the sub setting when I'm going 75mph and standing still is significant.

x2 on getting something with enough preamp voltage.

You mean an EQ with a low frequency band?

Tough to beat Kenwood's KDC-X889 feature list for that price. Or if you wanna stick with Pioneer's Premier line, step up to the 770MP.

check out some eclipse HU's they are of the highest quality and i have yet you have an issue with any that i have installed for myself or my friends. Clarion is the only brand other than eclipse that i will use anymore, i have had issues with pioneer, alpine, and tons with sony.

I was waiting for T-punk to mention Eclipse. :D I thought about them, but it's gonna be impossible to get one of the nicer ones for that price new. As for which of the two previously mentioned, it's your call. Features are pretty close and I'm sure you'll be happy with either. Sorry.
