im upgrading my current b@stard system that has been pieced together from nothing.

i plan on sound deadening the car, so a little loud wont be that bad. i listen to alot of rock, and on rare occasion some rap. just something loud enough to wake the nieghbors =)
my current system right now is my 4 6.5s are all wired to a pioneer amp. with a 12" lighting audio <isnt that RF brand?> powered by a punch amp.
my price range is around the 800-1000 dollar range, and i plan on doing the install myself.
i will be piecing this system piece by piece. so i figure within the month it should be done.
I will take on all comers...or come on all takers!!! Whichever you prefer.

You looking to upgrade everything? Or just more bass? Got an aftermarket headunit yet? If so, model number? Planning on replacing that also with the price range listed? Is this a coupe or vert? And if you could give us the model numbers of those amps... I think we'll have everything we need to start business. :D

Budget on the new headunit? Check out this thread going on now. If you can afford better, you say the word! Why are you against reusing the amps from your previous setup? I don't know anything about the amps, but say the Rockford did 500 watts. That's plenty fine for a pair of 12"s. Say the Pioneer does 75x2. That's good for a set of front components. Give us the model numbers of the two amps and we'll se what we can do. If their no good or don't truly output rated power, sell em' on Ebay! $$$$ :D :D But if not, check this out:
Front components
Sail panel speakers
Component/Mid amp
Sub amp
Subs choice 1
Subs choice 2
Sub choice 3
Sub choice 4
Sub Choice 5

Note the dual 4 ohm choice on all the subs. Get your wire from www.knukonceptz.com www.darvex.com or www.ebay.com . Or if you can swing it, check out a local welding shop. Quality wire at a smokin price.

very nice, i noticed the alpine type r sub, how would i wire that to a sub, doesnt it have dual voice coils? and the sub amp you recomended is a 1 channel mono amp, sorry im still failry new to the stereo world, trying to cram as much as i can.
for the components and sail panel speakers i assume the wiring would be 1 speaker for each channel, no corss wires or anything?
and once again thank you for your help

Correct.
And wire your subs like this:

All +'s together and then all -'s together. Also, watch the gain on that amp with the Type-R's. 1500WRMS through a pair of Type-Rs is pushing the limit.
