If you can afford the W7 and the amp or amps to push it then I'd go that way. If not stick with the L7.

i think i will go kicker just because the w7 has a svc 3 ohm so i would need a jl amp to match then another one for my componets. evreything will be kicker, thanks.

those 3500's have also most the same specs as the kicker, they are uglier and cost more, no thanks.

I promise you I'm not brainwashed, hehehehehe, but the W7 is one of, if not, the best subwoofer on the market today. The L7 doesn't even COME CLOSE in SQ. And DD is outstanding..... for SPL. I speak from experience with all 3 woofers in many different enclosures.

a 3500 series OWNS a L7 in SPL, it's not even a comparison, i'd take functionality over appearance ANY day, and kicker doesnt have the build quality of a DD

:edit: in my haste to whore out digital designs, i forgot to ask, have you checked out Elemental Designs or Resonant Engineering yet?..both VERY solid underground SPL companies

check em out, Resonant Engineering SE's are AWESOME speakers, that are on the same level as L7s and W7s...very nice speakers, and Elemental Designs is coming out with all new driver-lines

JL!!! my buddy has a custom built box in his camaro with 3 kicker L7's in it w/ 1000w amp and IMHO, it doesnt sound that great. i liked it better before with 2 w3's. and i've heard 1 w7 in a dude's truck that sounds awesome!

I have 2 kicker comp vr 15s in my car right now the new 2003 ones. they pound , but they arnt solo barrics. however, I also have a 12 w6 v2 JL of course. Id say if u get one w7 make sure to check out the boxes JL makes, they have one thats pretty good size and a good sized propely dimetioned box is a must.

Edit: o I like the JL better than the 2 kickers, they are very very loud but the quality of the JL is just great. I bought the kickers cause I knew they were loud. I bought the JL cause I new it was accurate.
