New Speaker Question

Well my two backseat speakers just blew out, so i went out to best buy and just bought some ****ty ones to fill in the sound, i dont really care to much, anyway they are sony xplods. So i was going to put them in and at first i noticed that each side is like less than a 1/4 an inch off from the holes im like wtf??, so anyway i guess i'll go make it best buys problem tomorrow since they have the "let us install it" stickers all over the box. Anyway i have the monsoon system. Im kinda pissed now, i didnt do much reading about this at first. Anyway i guess the monsoon amp only works at 2ohms, and the speakers i have are 4. So will this not work or will it just sound ****ty. What do you guys think i should do?

You'll only be able to use 2 of the 4 wires in each plug. It will work but the amp will see 4-ohms instead of 2-ohms. I'll let you be the judge on the sound

Also, I would remove the plugs located on the old blown speakers and bring them with you to best buy. This way they won't have to cut off your factory plugs in the car. Here's a LINK to the Monsoon color codes for determining which wires are + and -. Good luck

well i just screwd just about every one of those steps, cut all 4 wires and used these handy little connector things. I realized that 4ohms would work this morning when i read 4ohms on the back of the stock speaker. The holes do fit right now as well, just needed diff screws than the stupid speakers came with. + - didnt seem to matter it worked either way.
