I'm looking to swap the original radio/cassette in my 94 Firebird, with steering wheel controls - for a radio with CD. Which model year radio/CD's will simply plug into the existing wiring and still work with the wheel controls ? Will they need different screw fittings in the dash panel ?
    I've seen Radio/CD's on e-bay for example, but they state for 95 to 2000. Won't they fit a 94 ?
    Any help or advice appreciated.

    Thanks.

Andy, hmmm... not 100% sure. Those units you see on Ebay should fit fine. Ask around, but many people on this board have done the swap already. All different year cars.

Yaba3800,yep. As long as the aftermarket unit has an IR remote. Which is extremely common. You'll need the PAC SWI-X. Check out the Modifications Encyclopedia.
