manual switch mod question...

when you tap into the power source...

if you tap into an alwasy on source like the cigarette lighter does the mod pull a drain on the battery even when its off?

becasue I have come across guides that say, tap the cigarette lighter, and some that say tap the radio wire...

id tap in to the acc wire like the wire on the back of you deck that goes to your amp so when your head unit comes on it will cut the power on

That is how I wired it too. But it won't matter if you tap into the cig lighter unless you have LED's or a lighted switch that will constantly draw power.
