Do I have an amp?

--I have 10 speakers (4 tweekers, 4 6 1/2" woofers, 2 4" speakers in the back)
--I took out my spare tire, found no amp
--Checked door codes, UNO is not present (Monsoon CD HU)
--Stock HU and speakers were in the car when bought (driver's side door woofer and rear 4" and tweeter not working)

So should I have an amp in the pass. side rear wheel well? I see a place where one could be stored, but nothing in it. I installed a new HU (DEH-P6600) and all the speakers work fine (that worked before).

Also, what would be some good replacement speakers? I don't think I'll buy new 4" for the back, since everyone says they are just fillers. I heard Infinity speakers are good... but I'm not that good on car audio...

I have asked that question before and never got a strait answer. I got one of the monsoon codes but not the one for the amp

Yes, the amp is near the spare tire. But I must admit that it is slightly hidden. Small 6"x6"x1" black box just forward of the spare tire. No, they we never placed anywhere else on the f-bodies. If you do not have the amp and don't have the door codes, you do NOT have the monsoon system. What a previous owner may have done after it left the factory is a different story...

You may have what's called the "Entertainment System." Its the same setup as the Monsoon but its just called something different.
