Ok, here's the deal. I've got an Electric water pump, MSD-DIS-4, MSD coil packs, upgraded driving lights, and now a new stereo system putting out 240 watts. All of these combined seems to be putting a serious draw on my electrical system. I'm also looking into putting on an underbody lighting kit this summer. I know I need to upgrade my electrical system. Here's what I'm thinking.
New power and grounding wires to handle higher amounts of current with less resistance
Dynabat battery to replace my stock 72000 mile battery
high output alternator to put out more juice
maybe an underdrive pulley for the alternator, depending on if I can still get enough juice out of it.
Do these upgrades sound sufficient for what i've got and am planning on doing? Also, I don't wanna go out and buy a grounding kit or brand name power wires for my car. I'd be just fine with making my own, or just buying some pre-made ones in sections suitable to the length I need. Does anybody know if Autozone or auto parts stores usually carry wires already set up to be attached to the car? If not, where would I have to get the supplies to do this myself.
