Wasn't sure if this is gen tech or electronics, so sorry if it's misplaced. Anyway this isn't about a fbody but I assume the door locking mechanism is similar for all gm. My dads Buick won't unlock the doors. You can unlock them manually and lock them with the power switch and keyless, but when you hit unlock the lever doesn't slide over to unlock the door. I'm assuming it's a problem with whatever pushes the lock lever (my detective skills right there [img]tongue.gif[/img] ) Anyone have any ideas on what could be causing this?

When the fuse for the locks blew on our '94 Grand Am, the doors would automatically lock when the car was put into drive, but they wouldn't unlock when put into park and the power locks switches didn't work. Did you check the fuses.
