Making Speakers Fit

does anyone know where i could get some quality brackets that will make 6 1/2" speakers fit in our 6 3/4" mounting spots???

6 1/2s fit it the factory locations no problem

Not all 6 1/2" will fit into our 6 3/4" holes. Most will. Some will not. You can buy adapters from Crutchfield. They are part number 142SAC656 ($12.00/pair). I have already bought these and they work fine.

www.sounddomain.com sells VERY good ABS plastic ones. I use them.

Or you could do what I did and just get quarter inch MDF board and make your own. Pretty simple actually.

i think if you buy the speakers from crutchfield they throw in the adapters for free (i know you already have them, this would be for future reference [img]tongue.gif[/img] )
