    PLEASE HELP!

    Okay, I bought Indiglo Guages from ebay, and they include a dimmer and a switch from blue to green. Anyway, I took my dash out and put the new guages in, and the control has 2 wires, one red and one black...the instructions say to connect to the headlight power, so I figured it was near the headlight switch, so i spliced into a red and black wires. My NEGATIVE battery connection was disconnected by the way. So I connect back the batter and voila it works, but the guages dont turn off, they always stay on...So I figured I tapped into a wrong wire...so i put everything back to stock, and now when I connect my battery, my dome lights STAY ON and wont turn off!!! How do I fix that? I dont have anything connected anymore and everything is back to stock...I tried taking out the 2 PCM fuses and the battery and reconnected and the same thing happens...WHAT DO I DO?

    PLEASE HELP!!!

    Also, what are the correct wires to tap into?

    Just out of curiosity...this may have nothing to do with it BUT did you check the little wheel switch next to the headlights switch that is used to dim the lights of the dash? If you set it all the way up it will keep the interior lights on. It's happened to me before.

      I tried it with all the way down, and it still does it...

        well i dont know the answer to your problem but for one, take out the fuse that turns on your dome lights so you dont have to worry about spending money on new ones until you fix your problem..

          Which fuse is for the dome lights?

            You probably disconnected the door switch accidentally. So it always thinks the door is open. Make sure you didn't accidentally pull a wire loose.

                Problem fixed!!! It was the stupid trunk, I guessed it popped open when I was playing with the switches...

                Does anyone know which wire operates the headlights for a 2001 Camaro, I was told either the brown one or the yellow one...
                Anyone do this on a 98+ Camaro?

                Thanks for all your help guys...Today or tomorrow I should put the new guages back in. I also broke the temp guage needle so I have to super glue that sucker too.
