i have no base on them, my panasonic is 60W x4 MAX power, base is -12 and treb is 0. they suck i can only turn the deck up to ~34 (60max) before they distort i mis my infinty's in my 89 :(Originally posted by FireFighter:

Most headunit amps suck anyway. I have never heard a panasonic deck tho. I use to own the older model the DX60 (they have the same power rating) I ran them with an older Pioneer head unit. The DX60's distorted easily, and they werent really loud. So when I sold my car I took out my Pioneer head unit, but I sold the car with the kicker speaker in it. so the guy I sold the car to, he put in a Kenwood head unit and the DX's speaker sounded really clean and loud and at the same time no distortion. So I figured it was the head unit that made the speakers sound bad.

yes... i know its not the deck a freind hook up infintys to it sounds great at 55 on the volume, it has a biult in noise filter/power "smoother" for the deck.... no noise on the lines or any thing.. only thingOriginally posted by FireFighter:
