  • Tweeters?

Ok, I know this has been done to death, but I did search, and it aswered most of the questions.

    Here's the deal:
about a year ago, I had a pair of MBQuart components along with a Alpine Head Unit, Fosgate Amp (for sub),and a JL 10w4. Sounded good, but my highs were WAY to strong.

Found out it was how the shop had mounted the tweeters to the doors. They had put them in the spot where my power window switchs would be if I had them. They had simply mounted angle mounts on these plates and put them on (without asking me where I wanted them).

Well, today I had some Alpine 4" coaxials put it along with a Alpine mrv-340 v12 to power the MB's and the new four inchers in the back.

Telling the shop about the problem, they said they'd make sure it was good. I don't know much about placement, just the gear, so I let them have at it (they did a great job with Dad's vette, so I trusted them). Anyway, the ended up putting the tweets in the same spot, but rather than putting them ON the plate, they put them BEHIND it, and kinda drilled 5 little holes in it to let sound come out.

First off, the system sounds B*TCHIN! But, I don't choose how my little window switch delete plates look, I mean the holes are nice and clean, look good, but preferred having grills, rather than holes in my doors.

Anyway, the question is, any idea's on how to put a grill or something over these holes? I have nice grills for the tweets, but they seem to require the little angle brackets I have, which will look stupid with no tweeters in them.

    Any ideas?

C'mon guys, I could use some suggestions.

I think I may just glue them on with some felt underneath it to hide to the contrast of my silver delete plates.

NM - it's all good. I put them on, and my interior looks sweet.
