thinkin about upgradin subs

i was thinkin bout upgrading to 2 fosgate 12'' p3s.. and usin the hifonics 1200w amp i have on them.. here they are

does that look like a good deal?
somebody from school said they would give me 250 for my ma audio subs and amp.. so i think it would be worth it?

the subs are DVC 4 ohm so they could be wired to 1 ohm correct>? i just want to make sure i could do everything right before i end up with the wrong thing
