    ok this may be a stupid question but ive searched the site and can't find an answer, what wire out the of the stock deck runs to the REM input in the amp? really tired and no results in searching
    first time installing stereo and can't figure out this problem. please help.

    i used the power wire to my power antenna..

    that way amp turns off with the car..

    there are plenty of other wires to use. test a few to make sure you get power when key is on, and no power when key is off

      There is no REM wire on the stock head unit. The amp turns on when it senses a signal from the speaker wires.

      Like Tyler suggested, use the wire that activates the power antenna, the Pink wire. Or you could use the Yellow wire on the back of the head unit as well. The Yellow wire switches on and off with your ignition.
