Hey guys, my bird is stuck at work right now cuz my car alarm is malfunctioning. First, the car wont start, but the stereo/lights will come on, and the Security light will come on. After teh third/second try, the alarm will go off and wont turn off. I think there may have been an aftermarket alamr installed but im not sure. Ever heard of passport? i have some weird thing under the dash called Passport, has a button, but it doesnt appear to do anything. what is wrong with mycar? Pls help, wont be able to tow my car either, its under a really tight car port. Need help ASAP

Sounds like a starter kill kickin in. The single button you speak of is probably the over-ride.....but you have to know the "code" of button presses to disable the starter kill. Default is usually something like- 1 press...pause.... 1 press... turn key. Atleast it was for mine.
