diamond audio vs. elemental designs

looking for opinions on the 2 i will be buying a set of components(6.5) and coaxials(6.5)

what do yall think, i have an audiobahn 4004t(50 watts rms x 4 @ 4 ohms)(100 watts rms x 4 @ 2 ohms)

maybe the diamond ausio components and elemental designs midbass since there midbass speaker is dual 4 which i could get more power from it!!

I have a set of Diamond Audio Hex's S600S from like 2001 or so. They are great components, I love them! They got rid of my upgrade itch. What I mean by that is, after I installed them, I no longer felt my system was lackluster. Now it's four years later, and I'm still happy with them. Great choice.

I assume you want coaxials for the rears? I say, don't bother. Save that money. Install some really good components up front and if you still think you're missing something from the rear after a few weeks put some woofers back there and don't run any frequencies higher then 200-300hz or so through them. That will keep your sound stage up front where it belongs. You really don't need anything behind you unless you're trying to run a surround system.

yeah but when i turn it up then the rears will sound bad plus i blew a "sub" right behind me on drivers side, i am gonna replace it with the ed midbass driver and put DA components up front i think!!!
