ive had it for 3 weeks now and its already dead. wtf? i have noticed that when i started it the last few times its been really low and the voltage jumps to 15 when i 1st start the car. so i go to start it now and its dead barely turning 1 time. has this happenedn to anyone else?

Ive had a problem with my yellow top going dead after 11 months, but i run a huge system so that might be part of the problem.

Maybe you got a deffective one? See if you can exchange it for a yellow top.

i took it to autozone and they tested it and said it was ok.

maybe it just needed a good charging. it seems ok so far. it usually seems fun after letting ti sit for a few hours it has a hard time. well see in the morning.

check your alternator. IF you have a killer system running in your car, but dont have a capacitor, then you may have drained your battery our burned up your alternator.

when i took it to advanced they did a full charge and test. so far it seems ok, maybe it did just need a good full charge.

Wow, unless your running a HUGE system (~1.5kW+) with our stock alternator... the yellow top doesn't really have a reason to die.

Well that falls under the "1.5kW+" category...., which I HOPE he has a HO alternator...

But my point was, that I'm sticking up for Yellow Tops.

1.5kW isn't that HUGE by todays standards anymore. Now everyone is running a kW to their subwoofers....
