hooked up cd player and doesnt work??

well i transfered my cd player from my camaro to my firebird no problem right, wrong, i am gettin nothing, i checked my pos. feeds, and my neg feeds, any other ideas? i also have the monsoon in this one and no monsoon in the other one

i cut that wire and recrimped it and still nothing my dash kit works if i hook it up to the red and black, and my power antenna works if i stick it to the red also but nothing from the cd player

My car had the monsoon system in it. I had Best Buy install my Cd deck because they said that the monsoon is different than other systems and is more difficult. They had to buy me some new part. This could be the reason yours is not working. I would go and ask Best Buy or some electronics place if there is any other needed parts since you have the monsoon system and see what they say.

well my neighbor works for a big audio store in toen and he is out of town erggh i think i am going to go and buy a new wire kit and see what happens since this one has had its times, so i think i am off to wally world to get me a wire kit

bought a new wire kit!!! did not work wired everything right with good good connections and nothing the problem is somewhere else, if my cd player is fried it will be my LAST pioneer deck as my old one fried i love pioneer deks but if this is 2 in a row then i dunno what to do!!!

what about an amp turn on wire ? should be a wire on the head unit might have to have the 12v turn on for the amp for the monsoon system
