  • Seemingly random electrical problem

I have two eletrical problem, both of which happen randomly. First, my stock headunit in my car very recently has started turning off while driving. It would still have power because the red led would be blinking. The only way i could get it to turn on again is to restart the car. I Figured it was the headunit going bad which was fine since i just got a new one the weekend a kenwood KDC-X689. However it has been losing power too but it comes back almost instantly. I am think that the wire that tell the stero when to turn off ie ignition off and door open, is loose or somthing.

Now the second problem has to do with my power window on the driver side. I have a 2002 camaro but the wiring harness is from a 1996 but it is rewired to be identicle to a 02. The driver side window will some time stop working and will not move at all. Right before it stops it will slow down if i help it up it does not stop working. I am think that it is the module that controls the automatic window down. Has anyone else had the problem of that going bad, this part in my car is from a 96.

Please help any suggestion are welcome.
