Ok. I have an aftermarket HU, and 2 12's, and upgraded to SONY 6.5s in the backseat.. yes i am an idiot, and the highs dont work out of the back seats ..question is...should i put the stock ones back, and move those 6.5s with highs to the front doors? How much better will they sound over the stock highs? I think the stock (monsoon) ones sound pretty good.. or should i get them to hook up more wires from the HU to the 6.5s to make the HIGHs work in the back seat? thanks all...

With the way our seats are positioned, and if you ride at all leaned back, the rear speakers might over-power your fronts real easy if you leave them there. I replaced both pairs in my car, and had to turn the rear gains WAY down so I hear the front ones as apposed to the rear ones blaring in my ears all the time. Just those rears are closer to your ears. I'd put the Sony's in the front.

Well, i dont hear sh*t from those backseat ones. For having a 12 speaker setup, i am not too happy at all..i guess ill try putting those stock 6.5s back in and moving the sonys to the front tomorrow..they may be blown, but thank GOD for warranty! So i need to remove my whole door right to take off those front speakers? any tips on how to do it? what tools do i need?

I can easily just do it with a screwdriver...Kind of tricky getting it abck on the first time or two. Just take out every screw you see, and then kind of pull up and out on the top part of the door first, then bottom part will come off also.

ahah i cant get the last clip on the passenger door back on..lol... oh well Gm is taking cre of my tomorrow they should fix it..

I totally removed my rear speakers. I use to have some mids back there for midbass/rear fill, but one of them got damaged, so out they came. Front imaging all the way. [img]smile.gif[/img]

yea i took outthe back seat speakers..Gm wouldnt replace them because they were missing Screws..oh well..im throw those SONys up front when i can find a buddy whos taken his oor panel off before..thanks man..later

Take those sony's and throw them away [img]tongue.gif[/img] , and get some plant audio's up front with a tweeter and just get rid of the back it will sound so much better [img]graemlins/fluffy.gif[/img]

cant throw away dem sony's..im poooor.. but they will sound better than the stock door ones right? These sony's have a little silver circle in the middle(tweeter?) so they should rig up no prb righ? ywa im new at this.....STILL!
