hey i have a 97 camaro and it has the auto lights, when i release the e-brake the lights turn on i was wondering if anyone knew how to disengage the auto lights let me know thanx

There is a sensor that you have to run a wire across that disables the auto lights. Here is how to do it on 98+ but it might be similar for 97:
