  • Hood water drain

On 98+ firebirds, when you poor water or rain on the windshield, its falls the the plastic thing then drains off. But just under that where the grill things are, when water gets there, it drains down to the sides and falls inside under the hood. On the PCM?! Is it ok for that to get wet?

I found this trying to install a power wire through the grommet under the PCM and I poored water to make sure if i put the wire through, no water would leak into the car through the grommet.

I kinda posted this on LS1 when the forum was down.

So i guess my question is, is it ok for the PCM to get all wet like that? and For people that had 'leaks' on passenger floor, was it from that grommet?

    Thanks
