window switch broke help

I broke my drivers side window switch and bought a replacement and want to know how do I replace it cuz it just came in and will I have to take off my door paneling

Take a flat head screw driver and gently pry up the whole power window/lock switch panel. (You may not even need the screw driver) Pull off the wiring harness on the back of the switch. Swap out the switch and reverse. Couldn't be easier. [img]smile.gif[/img]

thanks man I just finished doing it and everything went smooth my father wanted me to take it to mechanic and couldn't believe I did it

lol & *sigh* And the mechanic would have wanted to charge you something for that too.....I think it's sad when people don't know/can't do the small things to their own car. (Change oil, replace serp belt, rotate tires, clean air filter, etc etc etc)

once again thanks man but this morning when I tryed to start up my car it wouldn't start and nothing came on all I could see was the red safety thing that tell you to buckle up anyways I stepped on my brake cause thats what I always do when I start my car then it started can you explain this to me without me making complete subject out of it
