Installed Navigation system!!

I Installed my navigation system finally!! Its a Pioneer Avic-N1. Has Navigation, DVD player, MP3, Satelite ready, and all that good stuff...

i wanted a avic n1 or n2 soo bad for a while i love it!!! how much did it cost

Can't watch DVDs while driving with the N1 can you? I heard they're impossible to bypass...

yeah on the N1 you just ground the parking brake wire.

You sure about that? I heard they have an internal gyro system that prevents motion video onscreen while the unit is in motion? Maybe I'm thinking of the N2?

yea, i think your talking about the N2, Javelin hit it right on the head. Just ground the parkin brake wire. lol

yeah the n2 has a gyro system in it.

hmm....Im kind of thinking of selling the N1 and getting a supercharger instead....

Yeah the n2 has a gyro system and it supposedly has to be wired to your transmission somehow , but the n1 i thought had that also, either way you should have it on a switch to break the ground after the car starts... i work for best buy and another sound shop and ive had problems with just about everything besides the 5700 down...
