 I can't believe you just said that....
I'm not disin JL at all. They make outstanding products. I'll admit, the W7 is THE BEST subwoofer ever made! There. Is that what you wanted to hear?
and then i'll tell them its an adire, and they will bow their heads to me. adire is up and coming. the adire brahma competes with the 13.5 w7 sub. i've read all over the internet on it, and i hear a ton of people saying that it surpasses the w7.
does anyone know how much a w7 costs?
if you are going for money and sound, the tempest would probably be nice, but myself would probably go with 15w6. you can probably find them cheap on ebay now.
If you buy from ebay then you dont get a warrenty from JL AUDIO. I would purchase mine through an Authorized JL Audio dealer and have it come with box and warrenty. Also an Authorized JL Audio 13.5 W7 cost $1k. The W6 is alot more money. He said for the money so for the money a 15W0 is the best bet.
I didn't think they even made the W6 line in 15"s. They are not on the JL website, but I found a few on Ebay..... maybe they are discontinued???
Also, I can get a new 13W7 for $750 from my local dealer here in Hawaii. That's still a cr@p load of cash. Yes, you do pay for the best..... but damn, if it costs THAT much I'll stick with a close second and an extra 4 hun in my pocket!!! :D
ok so the 15w6 looks like the way to go or maby the brahma but then which one would be a good match for my amp? its a BOSS 1400 Rip aip.

Well sorry to burst your bubble but that amp is a P.O.S! And I did some research they dont make a 15W6 They only make a 15W0 and a 15W3 ! By the way what is your budget?

You know.... that's what I thought too. But I searched on Ebay and found a few. Maybe they use to make them??? Then they got discontinued??? I don't know....
And bouch3800, how much are you willing to spend?? The Brahma or W7 would be the way to go... but you said "nothing to extreme". And that Ampman/Adire amp Jamie mentioned outputs over 1500WRMS@1ohm.
i know i don thave the best amp but sorry i cant go drop alot of money on your standard of amp. im 17 and have a baby and the little bit of money i have i will spend on other things than a new amp. so thanks for busting my bubble  but anyways i guess i should have anounced that before it has to be compatable with my amp and i will spend 200 maby 300 on the speaker. thanx again
