i went into tweeter today and they had a huge sale on xtant subs, because they were getting in newer models
u guys heard of this brand, are they any good?

they were or still are made by MTX. i had a set of A series Xtants...awesome sound for the money. I put 250watts to each with NO problems. If you set an MTX BLUE THUNDER and an XTANT A SERIES they are IDENTICAL except for the graphics on the subwoofer itself. SO they arent bad speakers at all. Mine lasted 2 years..then i upgraded.

A buddy of mine put one 10" xtant sub into his g/f's car powered by a really cheap 200 watt jenson... It sounds pretty good, but I think it would sound much better with a nice amp.
I've heard a 1000 watt mono sub amp from xtant with 3 jl audio 8's. It was very clear... I've heard good things about them...

I hear a lot of jive on Xtant amps with some guys here. Never heard their subs though. Come to think of it, this store here only has MTX and Xtant... can it be true?!?
