i have the 10 speaker system in my 94 bird and was wondering what that little circut board is attached to the back of the speakers in the doors. When i replaced the ones in my front door there was no bass comming out of them at all. THe tweeter was the only thing working on the new speaker. Is the little circut board some kind of tiny amp for the speaker?? Don't know if this helps or not but then new speakers i installed came with a cross over.

I had the same question, apparenlty those things are some kind of amps. Unfortunately, I thought they were x-overs and destroyed them when i put my new ones in.
