i want new 10's

hi all, right now i have two infinity reference 1020w running at 300 rms each. this is an adequate setup but my thirst for bass has not been quenched.
ive been looking at the infinity perfects because of thier price and the aluminum cone, sq and spl, etc.
my amp is ok, rated at 300x1 4ohm 600 x 1 2ohm
1000x 1 1ohm. i have the box already, i believe it has like (.7) - (1) cubic feet. its just a generic hatchback box i got for $30.
the perfects will run me around $145 shipped, what else is good for that price range?
will there be a sound difference if i get 2 dvc subs or 2 single voice coil subs (theyre the same watts) i want to run my amp at 2 ohms. thanks for your help in advance.

No sound difference. You are getting two subs correct? For the Perfects, you will want the SVC version and just wire them in parallel. $145 shipped seems like a good price..... I'd get them. If you want another good sub to compare.... check out the Elemental Designs K series.
