these subs any good? a friend of mine has two from his old car that i could get for 100 for both, they're used but in good condition. worth it?

100 for two jl w3's, uh yeah thats a good deal, just make sure they are w3's, and like before, that they still work. I have one JL 10w3 in a stealthbox with 200watts going to it and it can SLAM if need be. If those run great I suggest building a box firing at the glass in ur trunk, and get a 500watt amp and you can outhit just about anything. I have 1 10Wsv2 with a 150/2 Planet Audio amp... and that is PLENTY of CLEAN BASS for me. d@mn good speaker dont pass it up !AIS 2 OHH the memories... Great times and putting names with faces.<p>From \"interesting\" hooters waitress(Did you guys FLY ? ) to pissing BMW owners off on the ride home. To ending up in Philidelphia and USING (hahaha) an ice machine. I had a BLAST.<p>Thanxs to all that showed up!!Comment
