I hate our trunks!!!!!

I can't make a box that will fit right in our cars because of how the trunk slopes slightly in the bottom well. All i need is ~2.5^3-3.0^3 box, but everytime i make one out of cardboard to test it, it won't fit right because of the slope. Can anyone give me some measurements of your box if its around that size?

Sorry, I don't have the measurements of my box. It's been over 2 years. I can measure mine and give them to you. But I have those side plastic panels removed on mine. Were you planning on keeping them in?

And are you still planning on porting that Tempest??? You will need a bigger box then that. You did read my recommendations right?

Well I for one love our trunks. Unlike a lot of cars that make it impossible to make a clean-looking install, in a f-body all you got to do is match up to those panels decent and you're golden.
Don't worry man, it only took like 6 mo. to perfect my box--that's why I don't give them away for 22.95. The design is much more complex than that flea market junk you see everywhere.

And while cardboard is usually nice for making mock-ups in small areas, it's not as effective for the angled parts. Getting the right shape is the hard part. After that it's cake

heh i made a custom box for 2 18"s.... its not that hard... box goes all the way down in the well thing and used tup that space also

Alright, I think i've figured a way i can do this. Since our trunks slant in every direction i'm going to make a slant in the back going toward the the front of the car and then make another slant right where the trunk lock thing sticks out then have the top piece connect both the slanting pieces.

That sounds confusing, but i'll post pics soon.
