Here's my equipment:
Sony CDX-MP70 Mp3 Head Unit
Rockford Fosgate FNX2614 6.5" with 3/4" Dome Tweeters
Sony XM3001SXD 1000w 1-Channel Class D Amplifier
Rockford 400s 2 Channel Amplifier
Rockford 200s 2 Channel Amplifier
MB Quart DKD-116 6.5" Speakers
Rockford RFD2110 Sub running 600w at 2ohms
10" JL-Vantage Sealed Enclosure
Just today I bought the MB Quart's and the 200s Amp and am waiting to install them upon some advice. These speakers will go in the backseat, as I still have my stock ones there. I would of bought a 4 channel amp to begin with but I never planned on buying speakers for the back, but I quickly learned that when I crank it really high, they distort a little so I decided to fix that.
So right now I'm thinking...my 400s currently is running my front stage, I was wondering on setting up the 400s to run my Quart's, and the 200s for the fronts. Any opinion on which is the better route to take I've never heard MB Quart's either so I'm also wondering if anyone has anything to say about those. I also still have to buy the connecter piece from rockford to connect up the 200s and 400s.
My system right now pounds ubelievably, people are in awe when they listen to it and I'm really anxious to see what it will sound like once its all setup. I'm trying to get my mids set up perfectly as down the road I plan to buy a passenger side 10 inch stealth box, with the identical rockford sub.
I also have a MTX Road Thunder 280 2 channel amp that isn't hooked up...if I want to go crazy I'll connect that up to some new speakers in the very rear area. Do you think this will be overkill
Once everything is finished I plan to make a nice amp rack and display it....I know by having it on the rear deck with an untinted window is stupid..but I never park in stupid places.
anways guys any comments or suggestions would be appreciated...here's some pics of my car and the setup as it currently is.
