when i bought my car, it came allready hooked up. It came with a Pioneer HU, Kicker Comp Components in front, Kicker 6 1/2''s in back, 2 JL W3s in a Q Loigc Box. If you get someothing like a nice Kicker component system if will sound good. Even now, im gonna amp the speakers to get the full potential out of them. If you dont want to spend alot of money, get some nice 6 1/2s for there and amp em after an aftermarket HU.
im not looking to spend more then i need to, but my stock speakers can't handle much without distortion, something that will sound more clear in the loud range, naptown, what do you have?? i don't know much about speakers, so names and numbers mean nothing to me.. what speakers do you have, and how much? maybe the rest of these guys on this board can help me out,.
thanks

The best two speakers out right now are polks and infinity IMO. My polks sound awesome, crystal clear (even better now that they are amped up); although i would recommend getting a sub w/ the polks as their strengths are the mids and highs..... no distortion at all.
thanks for that info, i need to do some digging around, but i will let you know by the end of tommorrow either way...
