In the pic you can see it's a 4-channel amp. And that's probably max power. So that would make it 500W. Which would be 125x4@2ohms. When run to components, it would give them 62WRMS a piece. And if it not rated in max power, it would be 120WRMSx4@4ohms.....still not unheard of. Sounds reasonable, but I could be wrong. ;)

Thanks for clearing that up 311. I'm used to working with RMS not peak, and I forgot that companies like Lanzar post peak power to make their amps look bigger.

I have a JBL600.1 and it has plenty to power my 2 12" Infinity Perfects. I think its rated at like 700w RMS. The 1200.1 would be insane.

Actually that is RMS....but I'm running 4 ohm and I'm running some Audiobahn components that handle 200W RMS/speaker.

4 x 125 Watts RMS at 4 Ohms
4 x 250 Watts Max at 4 Ohms
2 x 500 Watts Max at 4 Ohms Bridged
4 x 200 Watts at 2 Ohms

So the 1000 watts that you are talking about is peak power.

So back on track i'd say go with the JBL. The kicker that Shelley is running is really nice too, I always liked kicker amps (but not as much as JBL ;) )

Nice setup . It would look much nicer in a Camaro though. ;)

Actually, those specs are a little strange. 4x125W@ 4 ohms. At 2 ohms it should be double that.....which would be 1000WRMS....but then...
