Here is some pics of my pimp remote switch for my amp, just installed today so I can turn it on and off. And some pics of my system. Let me me know what you guys think. Peace. http://www.funtigo.com/teele?b=15607&p=start
I wasn't going to reply, cause I figure if I didn't have something nice to say, I'd just keep it to myself. Since I have something to post now, I'll say it. I positively agree that the remote switch for your amp is overkill. A few more of those and you'll feel like you're piloting a helicopter. ;) <...all in fun...> A smaller switch would do the same thing but with less clutter and mess on the dash. With your system, you're off to a good start and though you leave your wires out, it does look like you took the time to wire things in right, so that's good. Don't think I'm a jerk for not sugar coating it, you wanted opinions so not everyone will agree with me or with you, but that is my opinion of the switch. Definite rice factor. Your sub is probably quite loud there. Doesn't look too bad, but you might wanna take a few minutes and try to hide the wiring spaghetti you've got started on your rear deck. It doesn't take much to lift the carpet cut a slit in it to feed the wires through. That really will clean up the rear very well.

I thought the switch was pretty cool. The sub is an Orion 10" HCCA sub. 1200 watt max. It can really pound for just one 10". I think i might try to hide some of the wires in the back when i get a chance. Peace
nice switch...looks classy.
i had my system on a switch too. it is easier to cut out when comming home a 3am or if you see the police.
your sub is in a good fireinf postion.props ppl can never seem to find that out
Well thank you, at least someone has something good to say about it. All I can say is damn, that friggin thing can pound. I wish I had two of them. I would shatter the glass in my car.Peace.
I have a bass remote on my Amp (Fosgate) and it goes from high to nothing, it is on the side of my drivers seat near the "lean back" lever and it is out of sight and does the same thing. Most good decks have a rear out put that you can use to power the sub on and off, may work better for you man, yea the switch looks like you are going back to the future or something....keep pimping though!

...I forgot, do you have limo on the rear window pimp if not you may want to invest in that with your system open like that. i got hit twice and hopefully the last time was the final one. I have everything under my subs. One amp sits where the jack goes, and the dist block by it and the other on the opp side, all bolted down, you must stay in a good neighborhood man, enjoy it!

Exactly what I was thinking. I'm sorry if you took my feedback for more than feedback. You asked for us what we thought, not for compliments. ;)
