My frind just bought a new 98 honda civic dx. I am going to be removing my Delco/Bose Cd player out of my 96 Camaro. Will it work in his car? Any ideas?

I can't imagine that anyone in the world makes an adapter to do this.

The bose unit has quasi-line level outputs, not speaker outputs, so you'll need some kind of level matcher and an amplifier to drive the speakers.

I don't even know if it will fit in the dash! Are Hondas 1.5 din? or 2?

When you consider the quality of an unmodified Delco unit, along with the difficulty of installation and low quality of most stock speakers, you're fighting a loosing battle.

Your best bet is to find an aftermarket unit that will fit. Most manufacturers make adapters for those cars (with just bare wires for the head unit side) And some make adapters that have both correct connectors. *if you order from Crutchfield, they will send or assemble one for you.

Good luck if you decide to undertake this very challenging install.
