So I dunno if this in the right place or not, but here goes... I want to buy a new optima red-top or yellow top battery for my car cause my old one'a acting iffy lately and I'm putting in a large sound system. Does anyone know which model numbers of each work specfically for camaro? I mean I can kinda guess by looking but I wanna make sure before I order it...

I don't think they're made "specifically" for a Camaro. I know they make a smaller version of the red top for some import cars, but I think it's mostly the size issue. I'm not sure about the red top, but with the yellow top you'll also have to have the hold-down adapter for the battery. I just installed a 180 amp alternator, so this will probably be my next upgrade as well. That and a 3" s pipe on the exhaust hehe2000 3.8L Firebird, Silver Metallic

\"Yes, London. Yeah, I know there's not one specifically for the camaro, but I know there's specific model numbers that will fit a camaro size wise.... I once saw a chart with all that info on one of the adds on e-bay but i can't seem to find it anymore... hoping to get away with not changing the alternator...97 camaro
2 Kicker S12 L5\'s in custom well box
MTX 1501D
2 Farad Digital Cap
Pioneer deh-p640
CDT CL-61A
Infinity fills
(adding another amp and CDT fills soon!)

I know it will fit in a Camaro (this one is in a 97 A4) Firefighter should be able to tell you part numbers.
